About 2:00 am one morning, my 6 year old granddaughter woke me and said, “My mommy is sick, and she needs help!” I ran upstairs, and heard my daughter gasping for air. I found her lying face down on the floor, bobbing up and down after falling off the bed. Through experience, I knew she was having a seizure.
I rendered First Aid immediately, and called 911. I’m happy to report my daughter is fine now, all because we taught my smart, young granddaughter what to do in case her momma had a seizure.
